I'd forgotten how good TG used to be back in the day.
I'm pretty sure that since this was filmed, a few more Landies have been up there now. Joe

Love him or hate him he did more for Landrover sales in 1 hour than they had done for themselves in 5 years The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything;
They just make the best of everything they have.

TG still use them as their filming cars.
keep the lower tail gate shut - brace yourself against it with your feet and then hold the camera out the back.

He never did come to terms with it “having two chassis”.
If I’d been the LR techie who’d drawn the short straw and was subsequently tasked with explaining the technical niceties of body design of the ‘3 to “the orangutan” I’d have despaired! 2011 - 2015: 3 x FL2

Amazing episode and priceless marketing value for Land Rover, always wondered how many times he got stuck on the way down though!

He never did drive down, he was airlifted off. This all came to light when he admitted taking the car keys with him, leaving the crew behind with a 2 1/2 tonne paperweight to shift back down the mountain 2011 - 2015: 3 x FL2

Watched it many times.
Still love the 3 there’s just something about it, I remember the first one I ever saw it was a silver HSE, looked like it should’ve been exploring the moon. As mutch as I love the 4 it just didn’t have the same feeling for some reason. 23.5MY Defender 90 X-Dynamic SE D250 MHEV Pangea Green
