Rear door lock
Have looked but cant find any info
Have 2013 D4 the passenger rear lock needs replacing
Have got as far as screws out of the lock but cannot turn the lock enough to prise the tabs on the door handle cable
On the Powerful uk video he seems to have plenty of room to turn the lock
I did notice that that car did not have the later keyless button handle
My lock seems to jam on the handle, so my question is does the handle need to come out and are there any instructions for a how to
thanks

Use the Powerful uk video
But what I found was the clip on the window glass needs a little more pressure than I thought with a helper pulling the glass upward
My Doors are the later type with the button on the handle I really believe you need to remove the outer handle to remove the lock assembly
This is what I just did took the whole lot out
There is another video on YouTube
That covers handle
Just not a nice job
I used a heat gun on plastics because when cold they become brittle
Cheers

Pretty sure I replaced the front door lock without removing the handle but I could be wrong. Mine is keyless entry if that helps. I pretty much just followed the powerful video. If you are removing the handle covers be careful there are very brittle plastic bits that snap off very easily.

Did my left rear door last weekend, impossible to do on your own (IMO) not enough hands,
Had to get a mate to come and help, he held the lock and torch while I popped the clip off.
I could not turn it like they do in the video but it was because mine has the keyless entrywhich stopped it. I thought about taking door hanle off but glad I didnt as with help it was easy ........ISH

Defenately can’t twist a passive entry lock. Managed to get the lock out in the end but it’s hard work. I snapped the cable locator so had to order a new cable.
It’s a top design I’ll give land rover there due.
