Is that what some have? Seems reasonably priced and actually in the UK already.

NB - ideally want one with poles fixed into the structure, not separate.

I have a Foxwing,great piece of kit,though the poles aren't fixed,they are seperate.

So many similar awnings out there and I can't make a decision! Think I'll wait a couple of weekends for Icefest and see what others have installed and then I can look at build quality as well formerly Disco3Ben
Ben, a few of us have Foxwings, great kit though can be a phaff to put up.
Ali-Awn do one called the Shadow which is self supporting & has legs/tie down straps attached.
One of the FW advantages is the sloped sides giving a bigger footprint- also easier to install a stove.Paul.

270 degree awnings? Free standing or poled
We have seen many different awnings and have used/sell the Foxwing awning ourselves.
Most of these awnings have about 10m2 of cover, put a 10m2 sail on a dingy and you have a big sail in windy conditions!
Most free standing 270 degree awnings come with the caution to guy them down/drop the poles in windy conditions. So basically they are only free standing/unguyed in still to very light wind conditions. At a big 4x4 show I saw a trader who put his 'free standing' awnings away every night as he obviously did not trust them being out overnight.
The Foxwing has separate poles and these must always be used and be guyed down. We have had them out in 55 mph winds and perfectly safe as each pole was doubled guyed plus a single guy rope in the middle of each panel. Putting it away in those high winds was entertaining, we just borrowed some extra bodies to assist us.
We are looking forward to getting some of the Rhino Rack Batwings in the next couple of months.

Ben yes. You’ll note the shape slightly different to the FW & not as much across the back of the car & the panels are straight not tapered.

Am not sure Ben, but am hoping for sub £700. We did try getting some last year without success.
It will depend on what happens with exchange rates, tariffs, transport costs etc.
We will be trying to get some before the 29th March!
