WANTED, TV and rear entertainment system for Discovery 3 |
|
I have recently become the owner of my first Discovery 3
It's a 2009 Discovery 3 HSE with all SAT NAV etc but does not have the TV on the front screen. I am wanting to get whatever module I need to get this activated and then also look to retrofit the whole rear entertainment system.
I have seen on this forum the post giving instructions on how to retro fit the rear entertainment system including all the parts list but I can't find anything on how to get the TV in the front first. Can anyone help me with this??
Also, if anyone has any parts that I will need, please PM so I can start collecting.
Many Thanks in advance.
Regards
Ash

Hi
Not so simple as plugging in the module .. The ccf file needs to be changed to add the tv icon also .... I can do this .. Dealers can't .
You would need for the tv
Tv Module
4x antenna Amps
2x antenna wiring looms
1 coax to touch screen
Tv module bracket
Most cable and connector G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

Send a pm to ajsms999 (Andrew) I am sure he can offer some advice with this or of course wiggs (Adrian) above, but you are going to need him anyway for the CCF change
Happy to offer any advice on the RSE retrofit which I still believe is well worth doing but I already had the factory tv tuner

Hi,
Not wishing to hijack the OP's thread 8 years later, but was there any joy? - I've been pondering a similar question and was wondering what / where to buy the (used?) parts from to enable the screen to function as a digital TV. I'm reasonably handy when it comes to bodging things and would fancy having a crack at doing my own too. Cheers, Sam
