Replace now or later?

My disco 3 (2009 xs with standard alloys) is about to go in for the 7yr service tomorrow, and when I got home from work today I saw out the window the disco roof looked a bit lopsided. Checked and the front left tyre was pancake flat. Last drove it on Friday so I assume I picked up a puncture and it's gone down over the weekend. Anyway I've only had it a fortnight and the fronts had been replaced before I bought it, so I was planning to replace just the back two in a few months.

The fronts are hifly vigorous which I have never heard of, and definitely seem flimsy although I'm yet to find the cause of the puncture. The backs are general grabber at's. I'm tempted to say sod it and replace all four now but will have to research for what is a good price. Will likely be general grabber gt's as they sound decent.

My worry is that in 2 weeks I'm doing the north coast 500 and I hear that the roads are so used and abused now that punctures can be commonplace. So I'm scared of replacing all 4 now only to pickup another puncture in a few weeks.

If the hifly vigerous are actually any good I suppose I could just replace the flat one and look to replace all four when the backs are completely worn out. With winter approaching it's my preference to sort them now if I'm honest. Can anybody offer any thoughts?

They have tarmac up here, or there as I’m a tad souff of Inverness. And electricity. Even colour TV. Shocked Shocked Roads up here are better than most of the SE, certainly better than Sunny Surrey. Thumbs Up

Haha forgive my Scottish ignorance I'm just going by what I've read on here. Good news for me though as I will look to replace all 4 with a road biased at. Suggestions welcome although biggest limiting factor will be a budget if 100 per corner max.

I think the roads in Surrey are probably the worst in the UK! But you do forget just how bad when driving around in the Disco until you get in a normal car, with no suspension!

Costco have an offer on Goodyear at the moment... Not sure of details but skim-read an email to that effect earlier this evening.

Just dropped it off at the garage to have the 7yr service. He hadn’t heard of hifly vigorous tyres and given the unexpected puncture, I think I will replace the four together. I’ve found somewhere local that has general grabber gt for about 107 quid a corner so will likely get them fitted before the week is out.

Expensive few days for me so let’s hope nothing goes unexpectedly wrong lol.

Been driving on a set of Grabber GT's for the last 5 years, 30k miles and they've still got 4mm of tread, really good tyre but am about to change to AT3's cos the roads here in east Kent are worse than the roads in the Aussie outback.
