2010 D4 suspension fault when lowering
Hi getting a yellow suspension fault warning when lowering from normal to access height and car stops lowering, not always fairly common and seems to be getting worse
IID shows error C1A13-64 (2C) Pressure does not decrease when venting gallery - algorithm based failure
Restarting the car resets the fault and shows the height position between normal and access and a press of the button will return it to normal or access as chosen
Any ideas?
thanks

Check nothing is blocking the vent pipe? Perhaps consider buying a service kit for the compressor?Dave

OK checked the vent pipe and no obvious blockage, blew it out with a airline too.
Sometimes it'll start to lower then thinks there is something under the car so switches to extended mode, can somebody advise me what triggers the car to think there's something underneath?
If I lower the car using the IID tool it seems to work fine but now fails on lowering most times via the switch even after a restart
Any and all advice welcome as to the next step
thanksMark

As I understand it it’s expecting to see each height sensor lowering. Where one doesn’t change as the vehicle drops it believes it’s obstructed and raises. Your symptom would lead me to suspect one height sensor is not working correctly.

I should have updated htis
The extended mode fault was caused by the height sensor units being crudded up, lot's of WD40 and freeing up has cured this. The venting problem was cured with a service kit for the air pump on the compressor, think it's the new desiccant that solves the issue
