Replacing ACM iPod cable
Photo pinched from another post as my car is in the shop...
I have the ACM fitted as pictured.
Mice got into my glovebox and chewed through the actual iPod cable bit. Can I replace just the cable or is it hardwired into the unit?
I really don't want to spend £300 on a new one, especially as the functionality is so limited...but a cable I can do.
Many thanks!

I guess you can. It unplugs from unit with a blue adapter.
I’ve just taken all mine out and re routed the iPod connector (with lighting adapter) to be the central console. 30min job. Working great and now connects new iPhone !

When you say lightning adaptor, do you mean it’s an older iPhone lead (big plug) and you’ve put an adaptor on it have you got a cable from the acm which is already a lightning plug? CheersCurrent: D3 commercial

I have that, I’m guessing there is no acm lead direct to lightning Current: D3 commercial
