the video in the first post shows it in action
it's more for the current range, but someone out there might fancy the challenge of making it work with the D42013 Discovery 4 HSE Lux | 2001 Defender 90 TD5 | 2007 Prodrive RB320

This is the activity key and the preparation kit that needs to be fixed in the rear tailgate, behind the letter D in “Discovery” thereafter it needs to be coded by a LR garage to work. The preparation kit includes a transponder that’s hardwired via a spare connector.
Apparently, you leave the normal key in the car and once you have activated the central locking via the wristband, it deactivates the key inside the vehicle until you open it again with the activity key.
Not sure if you could get it to work in a D4 or not. Faultmate and Autologic haven’t developed software for the D5 yet, so it might be a case of main dealer or nothing?
Hope it helps.

Thanks Dundonian
I started to get the bits together to do the conversion to my D4, but I just don't have the time to start it
It didn't look like it would be that hard to do for someone with a bit of electronic knowledge - or a D5 2013 Discovery 4 HSE Lux | 2001 Defender 90 TD5 | 2007 Prodrive RB320

No problem, the list price for the wrist band is £141, so your buy would be a bargain.
Oh, and LR dealership is quoting £74 including VAT to enable!
At least Dick Turpin had the decency to wear a mask.

you can turn it on in IID I believe
If it doesn't sell on here then it's going on ebay for £120 as that seems to be the going rate for them singly2013 Discovery 4 HSE Lux | 2001 Defender 90 TD5 | 2007 Prodrive RB320
