e-mail notifcations What if we could reply as well.....?

So we get the highly valuable e-mail notifications which also include the last post whic I find really useful.
What about if we could reply to that e-mail and it get's generated into a post reply?

Often I have e-mail, but not always t'internet, or if I want to do a quick response, I find it easier for some e-mails.
What do you think Martin?

Anyone else thing it could work for them?

Would mean setting the site up to accept emails, without enforcing some form of authentication (very difficult to do with an email unless you start using digital signatures) it would open it up to all sorts of spam

Sorry, it can't be done - I've looked into it and it's just not feasible, it'd be too easy to send fake replies and potentially open up the site to security issues. 06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti
