235/65/17
on the car at the mo are 235/70/17. I have been offered 235/65/17.[set of four].anybody changed to these,they are a good price.apart from being slightly lower will there be any noticeable difference in handling. thanks for any help. j

Check the load rating of the tyres you've been offered. Must be sufficient for a 2.7 tonne car!
The diameter of the 70 profile is 761mm, the 65 profile is 737mm. Your speedo will read over by about 3.5%.Richard

thanks Richard,i didn't realise that.perhaps I should wait till I can get the 235/70/17 tyres,rather than complicate things.
