Does anyone have a source for a definitive answer on tyre load index for Sept 2016 D4 Landmark with R20's. Having searched the forum the suggestion is that it is 111 but the tyre pressure plate in the drivers door says 255/50/20 109Y (I'd like to see my car get to the Y speed!!) and the manual doesn't give a load index except for Winter tyres 255/50/20 109V (surprisingly gives 110 for R18 and 111 for R19 as I can't understand why the load index would change for differing rim sizes?) .

for 20's its 109
It was always an odd thing that the D3 was always 111, and given the D4 is in effect the same car, it can use 109's
But quite often it has nothing to do with the actual car, but more to do with tyre specs availible to the manufacturer during design, so you are correct in 18's (even though 18's dont fit a 3Ltr D4) its 110, 19's its 111 and 20's its 109.
