Possibly selling gapbt

Evening all
As the D#3 maybe leaving my care over the weekend the new caretaker doesnt want the gap tool 1 whats the easiest way to get rid of it and 2 as ive registered on do i have to unregister it or what happens? D3 06 Manual Poverty Spec, but commercialised and ARB front Winch bumper

No you don’t need to de-register it as the new owner will sort. The best way to get rid of it is give it to me Whistle D4 MY15 SE TECH

I think you just sell it, then the new owner pays £25 to change it to his VIN. Have a look in For Sale section, seem to sell easily and straight forward to change owner. Thumbs Up

Put it up in the For Sale section, I'm sure someone will snap it up. They can then do a transfer of ownership and register the tool with the VIN required. 2016 D4 TDV6 Corris Grey

Follow dumbass question for the evening, woukd the buyer of the iid tool just need the transfer of owner one or that and register a new vin if they want to use it with there own vehicle? Sorry its just so i can possibly work out how much to price it at?

Yes, buyer sorts out everything, and pays the £25. It won’t fully work on their car without them going through the re-registering procedure Pat shows above.

Re pricing, there will be many threads in For Sale section, just have a mooch through that and see what peeps have asked for and how long (at what price) have sold quickly. Thumbs Up
