20” all terrain tyres
Hi all, I’m back in a discovery after a year and a half in a BMW. Quick question I’m after some new tyres preferably all terrain as I want to get into some green lanes. Tyres that are on now are 255 50 20 Landsail which it came from the place I bought it from and I don’t like them. What sizes in all terrain can I get?

My first was an 05 plate S spec. Had it’s faults but never let me down. I saw a shiny BMW and traded it in for it. Worst decision iv ever made. So I traded the BMW back in for this one and can’t stop driving it, finding any excuse to drive it at the minute.Rob Whitfield

I'm also running GG AT3 255/55/20, provides a tad more comfort than 50 profile.Stu

Still dry as a bone down here in the south east so towing the Ifor Williams across fields hasn't provided much of a test yet!
AT3's on D4 but i've got Cooper Zeon LTZ on D3 255/55/19 which are good in muddy fields but i don't do any hard core off roading so can't comment futher.Stu

I found the original 50 profile tyres to be rather harsh over all the bad roads around here so opted for 55's which have a little more 'give' and therefore a less harsh ride.
Thought i would mention while i was in my local NFU office the other day sorting other insurance stuff and he wasn't concerned at all.Stu

Forget Cooper Zeon LTZ's (great tyre) as unfortunately they're now discontinued.
In its place is the Cooper Discoverer AT3/Sport (not as good a looking tyre as the LTZ imo)...... always on the road less travelled 🚧

Hi
Funny enough I’ve got the cooper AT/3s fitted on mine , alas though I’m only running 235/70/17
Very pleased with them, done well in the snow and quiet down the motorway
