Spare wheel winch required. Genuine please.
The reason I ask for genuine is, after fitting my spare wheel protector and raising the wheel, nearing the top bang! the wheel and protector hit the ground. On further inspection found the winch cable had pulled out the ferrule on the bottom.
The cable appears to have been crimped into the ferrule, but obviously not well enough.
I haven't had this D3 very long and believe the winch may be an after market item. So I think my best option is to go for a genuine winch.
Thank goodness this happened on my drive and not while travelling on any road.

I have one in my workshop somewhere in full working order and it's a genuine part. I'll dig it out if of interest and work out a fair price for it. Cheers, Jim.
