You might be able get a new socket and swap them all over but it's fiddly and annoying to do. I had to do it on my old Navara as I'd wired it up and forgot to put the cable through the towbar bracket first. My only options were to un plug everything or undo the terminals at the back of the socket and rewire. D'oh!

Nothing is ever easy is it. That's just my luck too.
I've got the two plugs (12n/12s or 7n/7s?) and need to swap to a 13pin for the horse trailer. I don't want an adapter, so I'm toying with buying a 13pin and swapping the wires or buying a loom and doing it from scratch again.
Anyone know if they sell just the plug half of the loom?
And the part numbers?
Hope you manage to get it sorted

Tow bar place could not un clip the connectors on the loom without taking half the bumper off
I do know he only paid £54 for a new loom which is coming tomorrow as the one that turned up was for a Discovery Sport java Black D3 gone : (

At that price, I'd buy the loom and save the hassle of fiddling around trying to swp wires. Will have a google...
Cheers

I just cut the wires re-wired the loom a little and mounted a new plug.
