Dry Cleaning D3 Key...Does it do any harm?

SWMBO........Coat.......Cleaners...........Car Key.........Pocket Embarassed

I'm hoping they will check the pockets before cleaning (unfortunately it is being done overnight), In the event that they don't does anybody what the likely consequences are? How much is new key?

You will have a slimline very clean key Shocked .

I would be surprised if they didn't check the pockets before they press it.

I once washed the elecrtronic plipper for my last car (Honda Accord) on full cycle including tumble dry.

It still worked no problem!

Good news......the dry cleaners found the key before they cleaned the coat...God Bless Em Bow down

The conversation was something like:

Wife : Good Morning. I brought my coat in yesterday and I left the car key in the pocket.
Dry Cleaner Bloke : Oh Yes, the Land Rover one.
Wife: Yes, that's it.
Dry Cleaner Bloke : Yes we found it. Can you describe it? Shocked
Wife: Well, it's a Land Rover one..............
