Sun Roof Doesn't Work
Hi Guys,
I have followed this procedure http://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/topic26750-30.html , it opened as per explained when calibrating and closed. I thought great, that was an easy fix however it refuses to work after.
It will calibrate all day long, but its as if it doesn't save what it calibrates.
Any thoughts?
Not holing much hope as it would appear for everyone else, the calibration fixes it!

Still no luck with this.
Disco was in my independent specialist last week and I mentioned this quickly. I think they plugged it in but couldn't find anything wrong.
They said it would either be wiring or the switch. Thought i'd give the switch a go as it was only £17 for a genuine one. Fitted it and still the exact same!
They didn't think it was the sunroof itself as it opens and closes so quietly and quick when calibrating.

As you have already tried a replacement switch and the calibration works you can check the wiring from the switch Pin 1 is for Open and Pin 3 is for close. The switch applies ground to the module to make it work. With ign sw on but engine not running touch a ground to pin 1 and it should open - if not wiring problem, if it opens then try pin 3 to see if it closes - if it does then you need to check pin 4 as this supplies ground to the module and switch.

Thanks for the update ChrisX
I tried the various pins grounded with no response.
I haven't had much time the last few weeks to look at it and I think I need to find a working module to try. Which I haven't yet.An honorable defeat is better than a dishonorable victory.” ― Millard Fillmore

Any luck?
I noticed you can stop the roof mid calibration and it still closes after, which makes it usable I guess. Just a shame you have to wait a number of seconds before the roof starts to move.

No, but then not had much time. Got tailgate issues at the moment.
