Even if no £3k limit they wouldn’t cover the engine anyway as they’d hide behind “design fault” get out. Whistle

But the “they” and “their” is not LR, it’s Car Care Plan (unless changed) with a LR sticker on the cover. LR don’t give a stuff once it’s out of their warranty. Thumbs Up

just looking at the WDirect stuff and it only seems like they are offering core cover plus some add ons for multimedia and safety systems, coming out at 758 per annum. Looks like its un capped claim, but from the website isnt the clearest to work out what you are getting.

in fact just done the quote again and its now 977, not sure why

I've just been through this journey myself. It seems that WD and WW have just introduced some new products. If you go for full on cover in either of these then they are very comprehensive - more so than the LR product.

I decided to go for WW, but others may disagree with that decision... we will only find out when I eventually make a claim Laughing

WD were around 30% more expensive than WW, LR come in about 10% lower, but I understand are not so comprehensive in their package.

New product. WD wont negotiate. WW will come down a lot and be flexible with payment terms

Thumbs Up

anyone tried allianz-assistance - quoting 597 for their comprehensive cover with single claim limit of the value of the car

also WarrentyWise want 996 per year, so the most expensive right now, with a 10k single claim limit (which the website wont let me change)

That’s one of their policies. The other one is around £150 more and is only limited by the value of the car.

You’re between a rock and a hard place; LR’s own policy won’t cover the crank and neither of the other two have an unblemished claim record.
