Detachable or towbar compatible with alko hitch
Hi, I pick up our new tintent next Tuesday.. just had a horrible thought.. will it be compatible? I have already bought the 7 pin to 13 convertor

Yes, it's a 50mm ball. Just make sure it's clean, grease free, and no rust on the ball.Richard

There's well enough height from the ball for the Alko hitch. Just ensure it can't drop out, fit a plate at least

There are some concerns about the detachable tow bar, detaching whilst towing. Some people fit a locking plate to clamp the tow bar in place.
Personally, I've had no problem with the detachable, and have towed many different trailers with it, some quite heavy.
I have this year fitted a Tow Trust TL1 fixed tow bar, because I use a Scott type stabiliser for my caravan.Richard
