No Bongs

I’ve recently noticed that my “BONGS” have stopped working. I get the message to for example I’m in access mode or low fuel but no “BONG”.

I’ve done a search but it seems to be that they stop if you’ve updated files to newer software. I haven’t’ they Just stoppped the Confused

Is there anyway of getting them back?

Thanks

On a D3 your issue could be the little speaker on the back of the instrument cluster having gone pop, especially if you'd also lost your indicator 'ticking'.
I'm not sure if the same is true of a D4.

If it's the same then a £3 replacement from RS can be soldered in place instead of paying LR £1000 for a replacement cluster and programming it to the vehicle.

I did my D3 several years ago using information on here, try making a cuppa and then searching for speaker.

Nasher.

Thanks Nasher

I’ve noticed this morning that the error messages don’t show either.

If I’m in access mode it used to “say slow dow or vehicle will raise” and give a bong.

Nothings now though. Confused
