Try a search, Ive read a few posts where people have had suspension issues once polys fitted due to them not flexing fully and smoothly.
I would say genuine arms or some of the uprated ones from af.

Agree, poly bushing all the suspension gives a very firm ride. Try Advance Factors (forum sponsors) they have a few different options. I've fitted the heavy duty front lower arms and they transformed the ride but my old arms were very worn so it wasn't hard.

I have Superpro bushes on the front lower suspension arms of my car and could not really tell a huge difference compared to the original bushes (apart from the fact they were a lot better than the worn out old bushes)
My ride is not noticeably harder, and I believe Superpro bushes rotate on a greased inner sleeve, whereas the original bushes are glued and rely on the flexion/stretching of the rubber as they rotate...
The Superpro bushes were replaced approx 2500 miles ago...

Got a mate who ploybushed and is now replacing the full wishbone as it failed. The are snapped, not saying this was caused by the new bush but food for thought.
Agree Advanced Factores is the place to go

Where abouts did his wishbone(s) snap from. And does he do a lot of off-roading?
I could be wrong, but I do not personally think that putting polyurethane bushes could lead to the front lower wishbone(s) snapping... I wonder what brand/quality his wishbones were...

Bit of advice please chaps. My D3 has now done 86,000 and I do get the occasional slight clonk when going up/down my drive (more like a track) also a slight judder when initially braking from 50mph+, that goes if I push the pedal harder. A forum member suggested it could be lower arms knackered, so maybe replacement of arms, discs, pads etc, and any other items in that area (drop links etc,) would be a good idea as I intend keeping the old girl for some time. I'm open to suggestions. I've already done oil pump, belts and gearbox flush and filter, so I'm getting there slowly. 2007 Disco3 2.7 tdv6 SE

As said get the RRS arms from advanced factors, saves trying to get the old ones off then re bushing them,
Life's too short
Or as I did, call on a mobile mechanic to change them aka Disco Mikey D3 57 xs Stornaway grey

Genuine RRS arms, they are on offer just now from LR dealers, under their trade program
Mine has a wobble under braking too, which goes under harder braking. And ey have developed a knock, and very vague handling recently. They will be replaced in 3 months time, when I have a spare half day My D3 Build Thread

At the risk of resurecting a really old post, Can someone clarify that it is being suggested to use RRS (Range Rover Sport) control arms as opposed to poly bushings?

Yes, RRS arms with their different (stiffer?) type of bush are thought to be the way to go due to expected longer life. I have them on my car but can't really tell the difference in the ride.
