Expected lifespan for front wheel bearings/hubs?

This morning, as I was driving there was a whining noise (kinda screeching metallic noise) that was following the wheel turning speed. Noise did not seem to change much when making a right or left turn (at low speed) which does not seem to indicate wheel bearing issues.
Applying the brakes did not change the noise (i.e. unlikely to be a piece of gravel stuck in there).
My truck is a '06 and has 127Kmiles on it and the front wheel bearings have -not- been replaced (I've owned it since maybe 60K miles). I don't wheel/off-road the Disco3/LR3, this is our grocery getter/family car

So.... I know I'll have to replace them at some point in the (near?) future, but wanted to see what ballpark you guys get out of your wheel bearings?

In the past, I read 80K miles was the time to replace them, but that seems low to me.

Thoughts?

Its a lottery.
I can tell you for certain the Britpart front wheel bearings last all of 15k!

Front wheel bearings where changed on mine at 137000 km ... around 85k miles.

Timken should be OEM so it’s the same as LR just without the logo.

Edit: I would strongly recommend that you get it diagnosed as if the wheel bearing seizes while driving you really don’t want to be inside the vehicle at that time.

I bought my car at 97,752 miles, both wheel bearings were changed for me buying it.
No idea of make of bearings.

I changed them in June at 175,383 miles. So 78,000 ish from them for me.
New Timkin ones are on the car from AF.
