The other day I noticed the AC started to get weak while driving. After leaving the vehicle off for a while and starting back up, it again was blowing cold. A short while later I noticed a "baking" smell coming from the vents though still cold. Short while later AC had warmed up again. This went on and off as I would shut the AC off for a while on the drive.
Had it checked out by a garage, they found the AC system to be low on gas. After topping it up and running for a while they commented that the smell was coming from the blower motor as after running a bit it was hot to the touch. I had not noticed any issue with the blower, no sounds and it has been able to cycle through the speeds. Has anyone else run into issue with the blower itself heating up?
