There is also Richards Land Rover Specialists. I've used them a couple of times and can't fault them for quality of their work or price.

Richards promote themselves as german car specialists,
which is a bit worrying if you are thinking of taking a Landrover there?

I have used Rockingham Land Rovers for at least 15 years. I will only take my disco3 (which I have had for 8 years) to Steve there as he knows exactly what he is doing. I have lived near there, in Durham and now the Isle of Wight and I still only go there. Prices are less the a dealer, service is excellent. A family run business I cannot recommend them highly enough.Nick

thanks for all the recommendations. I've been informed that Ian from IAWA is still trading down on Denington industrial Estate under a new business name, what it's named I don't know. I'll have to take a drive down to find out, if not, I'll give Richards or Rockingham landys ago. Thanks.

Hi 60disco, I personally haven't been down there, but I have been informed that they are still at the Dennington address as mickle_n3 mentioned. I managed to get all the info I needed from the knowledgeable members on this site and resolved the issue myself, now it's on to the next problem! got to love the lanny for keeping me busy at weekends!

Update.
I popped into see if they were still there, they are but not doing LR stuff anymore. doing vehicle restoration. Suggested I try Barnwell Motor Engineers in Milton Keynes.
Paid them a visit and asked for ball park on changing rear arms and MOT bearing in mind that the EGRs were blanked.
Without even walking outside to the vehicle the response was it will cost £1,200 - 1,600 to reinstate the EGRs, also as they will have damaged the turbo by being blanked could be £3,4 or even 5,000. So how much to change the rear arms? - No idea!!!!!
Swiftly recognised that they were not the Landrover specialists they claimed to be.
Saw sense and went to Rockingham - Great job and the EGRs on my 06 plate are OK blanked for MOT purposes, later ones not so.

I think they mean on later models you need a software patch to put the light out.
Mines 08 and sailed through.
