As heading says; almost immediately after flooring the throttle engine power dies, all sorts of messages on dash e.g. no terain, suspension lowering, special prorammes off, the list goes on, Quick fix,, switch off ignition wait a short while then restart, everything seems fine no limp mode, no messages and normal progress... until throttle floored and same again, get home plug in Nano loads of faults, Hmmmm time to get rid?????? Not really, seems problem is probably due to low fuel pressure (at extreme demand) and remembering some advice many moons ago of.. start with the simple and inexpensive solutions first!!
1st to change fuel filter, bit of an awkward job as the pipes dont flex and the connectors are difficult to remove but with perseverence job done. half a dozen on offs with the ignition and relative time intervals and engine fires up nicely, Test drive.. Ta Daa, Sorted, 4 or 5 mile run to warm up and still sorted, Nice cheap fix.
