| [For Sale] Yamaha outboard motor, 2.5hp |

Four-stroke Yamaha 2.5 hp outboard motor, model F2.5AMHS, short shaft (at least, I assume that's what the 'S' means.
I bought it in 2011, not new but apparently unused, for an auxiliary/emergency motor when I took my boat to Italy and for several years had it on Lake Como, where it is possible to be a long distance from the nearest shore.
Apart from checking the oil and test-starting it once a year I never needed to use it and having brought the boat back to this country I have no need for an auxiliary motor.
It is in excellent, as-new condition and when I test-started it today it started at the first pull and ran smoothly.
It is complete with the Yamaha carry bag and owner's manual. These motors cost almost £600 new.
An awkward shape to pack up, so collection from SW London much preferred.

I've got one on the garage as well
FYI
Spark plug gap .60 - .70 mm or 24 - 28 thou in old money
and
No oil filter
Yamaha don't do oil filters on their outboards under 8hp
I changed the oil in mine for peace of mind a few weeks ago, takes less than half a litre
