| [Wanted] Lock and Key for Thurle/Brink tow bar |
|
I need a lock and key/s for a detachable tow bar not a Land Rover original but a Thurle/Brink one.
can't find one anywhere

Oh yes I have tried flee bay, nothing doing. I've even emailed two suppliers of the Thurle tow bar, they will only supply with the tow bar!!!

I may be wrong but arnt they OEM suppliers to LR. If that is the case I am sure you could get a new lock from LR that would fit your tow bar. MY17 D5 1st Edition Namib Orange

Anyone know where I can get a blanking plate for a detachable tow bar.
The plate fits opposite the key lock on the Towbar

Aren't they the same? you can probably fit a LR kit to the Thule bar.

Thanks for the link and I appreciate your time in sorting it.
The Land rover genuine lock does not fit, I have tried two different ones and they are too short.
I have also spoken with the Thule Group suppliers, none of whom will supply without the tow bar, the hunt goes on!!

Re: the LR ones, there are two different types, I had to take my old one in to identify, I don’t know what the differences are though.. Disco4 MY16 SDV6 Landmark Black
