[For Sale] Garmin 1490tv satnav with D4 surround
Evening Gents,
I purchased this from this forum but never got round to fitting due to endless list of other jobs needed on the car. Car now sold so having a clear out.
The following is from the original add
Having a clear out and found my Garmin 1490tv satnav which was installed on my old disco 3. I have the complete set up for someone wanting to retro fit this in their discovery 3 center cubby hole.
This includes,
1 x Garmin 1490tv with recently updated software
1 x Discovery 4 Surround trimmed to fit the hole
1 x 12v Car Charger which turns the unit on with the ignition
2 x Tv reception antennas.
1 x GPS receiver antenna
regrettably no box any more but the item will be boxed carefully. In very good order, bought new and installed straight away so hasn't been carried about and bashed. Even has the landrover logo on start up.
You can also connect a reversing camera to these units I understand, however, I have not done that so cannot be sure. I also believe they have stopped making this unit so increasingly rare.
I would like £120 for the set up including postage, buyer to pay by bank transfer or paypal before shipping.
Search this forum for picture of unit installed.

Yep, you can connect a rear view camera and if you power it by taking a feed from the reverse light, the screen will automatically show the camera upon selecting reverse.
Had the 1490tv fitted in my D3 for 5 years and it's been superb, looks standard fit too.
Good price too.
