Inchcape Derby - Poor Write up
Finally got my car back from Hunters after a couple of weeks for restricted performance.
Now putting grammar and spelling mistakes aside, I think this is a very poor write up for an invoice. No mention of part numbers or even specific parts.
When I Sell this car, I have a vague invoice suggesting some parts have been replaced. How can I plan to claim my parts warranty if I don't know which parts have actually been fitted?
Have People had similar invoices before? I think I'll be writing and asking for a more comprehensive list of repairs.

All places I’ve ever been to supply a detailed parts list on the invoice, the price/discount for it, etc. work is detailed separately and has the hours/rate/discount/price for each work item. Applies to LR (indies) and Volvo (dealer).

I think its beacuse its not an invioce to you - all the costs have been covered by warrenty. It is just a job record, which is usefull to you or a buyer as its shows the wrok has been carried out at the main dealer.
I'm fairly sure all warrenty work I have had done has been listed like that.

That's a fairly standard warranty work invoice from them, all warranty work they have done for me in the past has been invoiced exactly the same. It lists everything they have replaced and is a record of work carried out only.
For the record I have been using them for the last 3 years and never had any issues with them.Andy
