Help, stuck in a car park with seized Parking brake!

Hi all,

My epb has failed and the emergency release cable isn’t working (I’ve even pulled it from under the car out of the module itself and nothing)
I have tools with me, other than trying to take the discs off and remove the shoes, is there any other way to disconnect the cables, from the module or hub?

Any help appreciated

From reading on here, you think you pulled it, but you need to pull it harder

I used to say “pull it so you think you’re going to break something”, then someone broke something. I don’t say that any more. Embarassed

The metal loop is touching the drivers seat, is that not far enough?

Might be worth a try - just drive off and see if it auto releases - mine did when the lever didn’t work.
