Here we have my partners Discovery 3, which has covered 106,000 miles with Full service history and has 10 months MOT.
The Discovery is pretty much a HSE but without the leaky sunroofs.
I viewed 5 discovery’s before finally buying this one, trust me when i say there is a lot of bad examples out there, two i viewed had leaking sunroofs and wet carpets, the other two had faulty suspension as in when i got there and started lifting and lowering them they both displayed “suspension fault” and finally the last one was rusting badly and had a very poor service history and the auto gear box was clunky, i had pretty much given up when this one came up for sale and it was simply perfect hence why i bought it. So please be aware yes they maybe a few a touch cheaper but if you buy a bad one expect big bills!!!
This one has had both cambelt changed around 88872 miles at £594.25
Prop bearing kit and tensioner at 93056 at £333.90
Electronic hand brake at 93511 miles £775.68
Two new wheel bearings at 98170 miles £446
Suspension arm kit at 96759 miles £387.90
New suspension compressor at 104800 miles £792.56
New discs and pads 3 months ago
It had the major 150k service or 10 years at 99202 miles which includes gearbox and diff oils changed all engine filters and oil, also the coolant was flushed and changed which was £730.89, a hell of a lot of people over look this service and out the 5 other discovery’s I viewed this was the only one which has had it done.
So in the last 17,000 miles its had over £4100 spent on it but you can at rest assured what ever it has needed it has had and there should be now major bills for a long time!! The service book is up to date and fully stamped and there is all the above invoices present plus every single one from new. I also have every single MOT from new and its only had 3 owners so not been passed from pillow to post.
The body work looks stunning , the paintwork is unmarked and is very well coated using the best carnbua waxes. In our ownership it has always been snow foamed (pre wash) first then the only the best car shampoo used, always towelled off and every 4 weeks fully waxed and sealed, All the plastics have been fully colour coded which makes it look a lot more modern. It also sits on the 19” HSE alloy wheels and has the chrome side steps. The only minor mark is the passenger wheel arch has a scrape which we did plan on getting done but its hardly noticeable.
The interior is in fantastic condition, the drivers seat is not split or warn like every other one i viewed. It has front and rear heated seats, All 7 seats are finished in unmarked black leather, it also has the Harmon Kardon stereo system which is still crystal clear and not abused. The front seats are electric and the drivers seat has 2 memory settings again all fully working. It also benefits from 4 x electric windows, Electric mirrors, Cruise control, Sat nav, Heated front and rear screens, Auto dimming rear view mirror, Auto Xenon headlights, Auto wipers, Cd multi changer, Parking sensors so hopefully you get the picture it really is fully loaded.
The Discovery runs and drives absolutely perfect, the gearbox is really smooth, there is now clouds of smoke on start up or under hard acceleration. The suspension lifts and lowers very quickly. It does not use any oil or water at all. There are absolutely now knocks or bangs it really does driver perfect.
We really regret this sale but due to personal reasons it looks like its going to have to go, but to save your time and mine i will not accept stupid offers at all!!! They do range massively in price i even saw one today at a dealer for £9995 with 120k and I’ve done a lot of research on what these are going for. After what i viewed this is pretty much perfect and will happily invite any AA or RAC inspection.
The pictures underneath have been taken today not 3 years ago!!! Please have a good look through the HD pictures to see how nice this really is.
Th discovery is free from any accidents or finance so is fully hip clear.
Thanks for looking, i have been 110% honest but should you have any questions please feel free to call myself Paul on 07487 703824.

Thanks mate, It certainly is a good one still trying to think of other avenues to go down to raise some money so the discovery can stay
