They have used the Startech insert for the centre number plate surround ... their own front and rear body mouldings ...wheels appear oem ...the interior is standard LR...in fact just like mine ...a beautiful place to be 8)
The rear insert certainly looks like the Startech one.
Quite absurdly oversize wheels

I would have placed an order as it looks 1 million times better.
What on earth were they thinking .!
I would love to see the Startech insert "in the flesh".
I wonder whether anyone in the UK has bought it? At £700 + shipping & installation it's not inexpensive.

Is it me, or does that number plate look off-centre?
I can see it's not, but the blue flag on the left makes it look like the plate is slightly on the pi55

I've seen one, on the M5 near Bristol. Had to do a double take as initially I thought it was a DS, but it was definitely a D5. It did look better and the hideous bumper seemed to be less obvious as a result.
It was black, so maybe it was an Urban Truck.2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE

In my experience, it's becoming clear to me that it is we (the Disco community) that seem to have the biggest hang up over it ...friends and family members, my own staff and colleagues are all gushing over the damn thing... thinking it looks so cool and futuristic...even my BiL who is generally an LR hater was mildly impressed.
I am well over any angst as I have come to discover why, as much as I loved my D3\4's, ..the D5 really is the better motor in so many ways. My advice is just spend some time with one 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

I don’t like the styling, but as I’ve said before, it wouldn’t stop me buying one. The plusher interior, less practical load space, lack of split tailgate and less room for my left leg are the negatives for me.
Although when I point out the D5 to others, who aren’t in the “community “, the response is inevitably the same and it’s not positive.
In the last month, I’ve started to see a lot more on the road.2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE

^ I've got another year before my D4 warranty expires, there maybe some news on the Defender by then.
My current thoughts are to either keep the D4 going for as long as it's practical to do so or get a TDV8 FFRR. If I'm going to compromise, then I might as well have a V8.2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE
