warranty ?

I bought my D4 back in June two years ago and it came with the two year LR warranty.Now the vehicle will be three years old in November.So do I still have the original three year warranty ? If I do, then I would I not now need buy a warranty untill November ?

I think your warranty expiry will be either:

3 years from original registration date (manufacturer warranty)

or...

2 years from date of purchase (if bought as used from LR dealer with warranty) Current - 2016 Commercial SE
Gone - 2014 Commercial XS
Gone - 2015 SE Tech
Gone - 2000 Td5
Gone - 1990 V8 3 door - What a machine!

So in that case when I bought the vehicle I would have been better off with manufacters original three year warranty,that does not make sense surely that original Land Rover three year warranty will still be in place regardless of the dealer warranty other wise that is just a sleght of hand for them not to honour the three year warranty ?

I think if you do buy a used LR that’s less than 12 months old it will come with the balance of the 3 year manufacturers warranty.

Most manufacturers offer the balance with their used cars, I wouldn’t think LR are any different. Discovery 4 HSE
