SDV6 cracked Inlet manifold changing question
Evening all,
I am in the process of changing the off side inlet manifold on my D4 which is proving to be a bit of a bar steward.
Hopefully someone else has been here before as it seems a common issue.
I have got most stuff out of the way but am struggling with the rail as the 2 bolts which secure it won't come all the way out because they hit what looks like the egr valve. If lr used bolts 5mm shorter which would have been fine I wouldn't have this problem!!!
Trouble is it looks like a right job getting the egr off!
Has anyone else had this issue?
Don't really want to cut the bolts but it may be the easiest way!
Thanks
Chris

Here you can see the 2 bolts holding the rail. They are nearly out!
Tomorrow's job is finding a little air reciprocating saw to cut them down!
