Decent tune in switzerland (not the Julie Andrews type !)
Anyone know how to get a decent remap tune in switzerland ( Torq tune, turbochip, JE etc.) or nearby ? I've been looking around but nothing nearby that I can trust. Nearly bought a box from H&P Motortuning, but found out that it only has a resistor in it and none of the clever software that they advertise. The advantage of a box is its removability, I like the idea of removing the tune before emissions tests etc. but the tuning box market is full of crooks.
Perhaps there's a company offering some form of remote tuning.
Thanks,

Shame about the trip being canceled. Thanks for your help. I've found that JE Engineering is near Münich which is 3h30min from here. Not sure if its a piggy back removeable box or the standard ECU eeprom remap. Would like the option of loading the original map for extreme climates / bad fuel / emissions tests and then doing the remap again, (the perhaps only advantage of a piggy back / box. Still, if not poss. then do the standard remap.
Costs a shade under €1000.- in the UK the same is €800.-, the difference is cheaper than driving to Coventry and back though. Good perf. figs 240 bhp, 560Nm.There's one wheel on my wagon, but i'm still rollin' along, it's the cherokee, they're after me, but I'm singing a happy song
