Minimum temp to not be a “cold” start
So now the wether is a bit warmer I’m running my heater so it’s not a “cold” start for the engine rather than running it to keep me warm.
So with that in mind, what’s the general consensus about what temp the coolant needed to be (measured at the fbh not the engine sensor) so the engine isn’t do a cold start and saving wear. Is 10 mins giving me a temp about 40 degrees enough or should I aiming for a higher temp?

I’m guessing you have the option to either prioritise the engine or the cabin, there’s a funky name for the valve that allows this, which comes as standard I think on HSE models.
For those without the valve on lesser models I think it prioritises the engine over the cabin and comes on automatically at below 6c so I guess this would be a good benchmark for you to also use.

I’m on a D3 so no valve, it just heats the whole system.
I’m on about coolant temp, not outside temp.

The "cut off" temp is 80° , exactly (sorry for my English) is the LDR temp is75 or 80° and/or outside temp 5/6° the webasto not fire.
After in winter , if needed the webasto fire to help keeping correct temp to the engine/ heater

Then don't worry, its the Webasto Fuel Burning heater starting up.
The function of the heater is to assist the very efficient TDV6 to warm up on cold starts, by burning diesel fuel to directly heat the coolant in the engine. One problem with modern diesels is that they are so efficient that they don't produce enough heat to warm the coolant enough to ensure efficient running.
When it starts (after about 1 minute from initial engine start) it will emit some smoke and steam from the front of the front left wheel arch. As the FBH reaches max power, it will burn cleanly with no smoke. You should not see smoke for more than a minute or so. You should see the smoke emitting from a small vertical exhaust located forward of the left-side front wheel.
You cannot control the operation of the FBH on the D3 (unless you have modified it - see below), it is fully automatic.
