[For Sale] IID Tool BT

As I'm leaving the LR fold I have the above item for sale.

£300 seems to be the going price. That includes Post and Insurance.

Does anyone know if you can change vehicle type with the change of owner? ie could I buy an IID that's been used on a D3 and use it on my FF? Or do I also have to pay for a change of vehicle type?

You are asked what vehicle you want to register it to, then down load the latest software program for it, all for £25 when I bought my first one Thumbs Up
 It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

I'm interested if it's still available / others who've expressed an interest have dropped out...

Not sure if that's 2nd or 3rd dibs? Laughing

United Kingdom 2011 Discovery 4 3.0 SDV6 XS Auto Sumatra BlackDiscovery 4

if it helps anyone decide , here's the answer I got from GAP on which car it should display …

Quote:

I was checking that my iiDBT was up-to-date and spotted it says …

"L405 - Range Rover 2015"

Whereas my car should presumably show as “L319 Discovery 4 2011”.

Have I done something wrong?

Cheers,

Dean.

Hi Dean
The IIDTool BT firmware is the same for all vehicles thus what the updater is displaying is irrelevant. You haven't done anything wrong...

For clarity … you will still need to pay the £25 to get it to enable the VIN-locked stuff for your vehicle.
