Rear passenger door jammed shut
Hi, rear offside passenger door has been locking, unlocking intermittently, now it’s just jammed shut.
Don’t think I can get to the lock/door card off with the door shut ?
Is there anyway to manually unlock it ?
I’ve tried disconnecting the battery to see if the lock undoes without any power ?
ThanksJoe

Somebody on here had similar problem and finally got it open, but I cannot find the link so hopefully someone will know where it is.

I can't find it either but I recall the door was eventually opened by persistent pressing of the unlock button on the dash and pulling the door handle from outside

Both of mine sometimes do that. Sometimes holding the small lock button open while unlocking with the dash button works.
Also try with the dash buttons locking and unlocking repeatly until it stops locking and then press unlock again that has also sometimes worked.

Seem to remember that if it’s deadlocked need to use the remote to open the door
So pressing the remote , lock then unlock whilst someone also tries the outside door handle at the same time

Mine kept doing it for months and months, you can remove door card by manoeuvring middle seats about to get to fixing.
However mine hasn't done it since I turned off double unlocking and that was weeks ago

If you suspect your door locks are failing, in the first instance, stop double locking the car. Single lock only, this way if it fails, you should be able to get in. Don’t buy a cheap lock off eBay. They fail quick.
Either buy new motors to fit in. Or better still, genuine new locks from land rover.
