Discovery in Scotland - fly fishing rod carrier




Some time out -so headed north for wild brown trout. As driving between lochs needed a rod carrier. Here is my solution. Worked well. The wood is a Andaman padauk -very hard and beautiful colour. The base plate is made out of some 3 mm aluminium I had lying around and it just uses the expedition roof rack brackets. May is great in Scotland - had lovely weather and no midge! Having trouble uploading photo - standby!
