Disco 4 analogue clock replacement.

Hello,
Somehow I have managed to crack the plastic face of my clock.
I have got a replacement,
what is the best way to go about installing the new one.
Any help appreciated.
Cheers
Mark

Hi
Does your old clock still work? Would you be willing to sell it for some beer tokens?
Just mine always seems to stick at random times.
Cheers

I did the same a couple years ago. From memory it just pushes out and you unplug the old and plug in the new, job done. Thumbs Up

Will check, but I don’t believe I have the destructions for removing the dash clock anymore. The info is availble on Topix though, so maybe some kind sole on here has access and is will to upload in pdf format.

That would be really helpful, been on You tube but looks like taking panels off around the dashboard, just looking for the best way others have done it. Willing to do as YouTube video states but that is regarding taking the central dashboard away not just replacing the clock.

There’s no easy way, you have to remove the bezels/panels to gain access to the fixings for dash section that holds the clock, once you’ve got that you can swap out the clock.

Hi Graeme,
The clock works perfectly, will update after I’ve swapped over, hopefully should be delivered today👍

Update.

My new clock has just arrived, things are easier to understand when you have it in your hands. As all I needed was the circular plastic clock face cover I was able to just pop the silver clock facia forward enough to literal pop the old one out and pop the new one in, no more than 1 minute job.
It’s on YouTube for full centre console removal if anybody needs it.
