Any idea's. This is where i,m at.For a number of years every time you entered 6th gear in my manual it would throw a E in gear selection window and you you would lose all of the above. Dealer told me slipping clutch but didn't really do anything with it. Dealer re flashed software and made it worse, then lost all gears in window so just lived with it . Over time replaced x y switch tried manual re-calibration to no effect. Recently changed clutch and flywheel still no good , cannot manually recal. Inde has had it in thinking wiring harness on top of gearbox but he says it is fine also checked clutch switch and that is fine. He says the only thing it can be is the Instrument pack and is trying to locate a used manual one to check. He tells me only a new one will run the car as security 'seed' is unique to car and they are not cheap. Any thoughts on that as plenty on ebay.
So to recap before you drive off no display, then as you pull off within 100m bong yellow park brake light, no low range available, now cruise control and no reverse lights.
X y replaced
clutch replaced
dmf replaced
wiring harness checked and fine
clutch switch checked and fine
Really want it sorted now as time to replace car is here. Anyone had the same kind of issues with the same diagnosis or anyone with any insight or suggestions. Any advice would be gratefully accepted as wife really poorly with cancer so need to box off as i really dont want to sell with this issue still unresolved.

You can use a second hand instrument pack its a bit of work but can be done search on here and you will see  Discovery 3 se gone
