| Cruise Control / Sus Fault |

Hi
I have warning lights on dash ( sus fault ) also my cruise control wasn't working SO after searching this great site for cruise control problems I came across a fix that was to put your foot under the brake pedal and pull it towards you,i did this and the cruise control worked ! next time I went out the sus fault didn't come on cruise control still working,next time I was out sus lights came back on and cruise not working SO my question is do I have a dodgy footbrake switch and is this in some way linked to the sus fault ?
