54 tdv6 disco cut out engine fault on dash

yesterday while accelerating hard my disco 3 went into limp mode for a quater of a mile and then cut out and would not start again. it showed engine fauld on the dash .
iv had codes read and its p0407 egr sensor b circuit low permanent. it will not let me delite this code.
still wont start , dash board is now showing suspention fault with orange light .
the egr valves have been blanked for over 3 year with no problems. engine has coverd 160k and always started/ran perfect apart from the last 2 mornings it took a bit starting and ran rough for 5/10 secons than ran fine

You need to check fuel pressure. Could be the pump in the tank that's failed. There is a Schrader valve on the top rear of the engine, under the acoustic cover, when the ignition is on, and you press the little titty in the middle, you should get a good spurt up your arm. Thumbs Up
