Dashcam (rear) mounting position & method |
|
Any ideas/experience on installing a rear dashcam to the Disco 3/4?
The rear window isn't ideal as the heated glass ruins the suction mount ability and also closing the rear causes too much "shock" for the camera to remain in place properly for long.
Thought about some kind of screwed-in mount or even an externally mounted camera...

mine stays attached on the glass - I used a 3M sticky pad that came with the dashcam - but I need to re-align it occasionally.

I have a BlackVue front and rear dashcam. The rear is stuck to the glass (with the sticky pad that come with it) top and centre as you look at the rear of the car. Not had any problems with it falling of and the recorded view is clear. Uncle Ray's spare wheel protector
