Since PSA now have confimed that all their cars will run fine on HVO 100, it should be safe in the 2,7 TDV6 also since it is a PSA Engine.
Has anyone tried this yet? Or will i be the first ?
Neste claims (since introduction) that it is 100% compatible with all existing engines. They call it Neste MY here. Pricingwise it is equivalent to using petrol (so roughly €0.20 more per liter than regular diesel).
I know several people who greenwash their cars with it with no adverse effects beyond paying more..

I generally use the Neste stuff (normal or Pro) when in Finland and Ingo or ST1 in Sweden, will stick to them. I don't want to give this engine any excuse for giving up.

Ok, well then i will have a try then.
Our XC90 D5 2012 is already "green washed" and have been running on HVO since early 2017, no problems yet.. and even smells better.
From new year HVO will be cheaper because of higher taxes on "regular" diesel so then it will also be the financially better choice.. (!).

We use regular Neste diesel in our V70 MY14, I didn’t feel like paying more for greenery when it should either be subsidized by the government (righty...) or priced competitively by the manufacturer. In this case everybody except the consumer wins - neste gets more revenue and the government more tax income since the price is higher. I don’t buy carbon offset credits for my air miles either.
@DSL St1 has a very large station network in Finland, too, since they’re from here. It’s an entrepreneur (Mika Anttonen) who founded the company. They’ve become bigger all the time and nowadays have their own refinery and RE85 production somewhere.
The government must not have gotten the memo on any HVO rebates, I’ve not heard anything like that. Gasum did have a nice “89 e/mo all you can fill up” LPG offer for all of next year but unfortunately it applies to only brand new cars, not conversions.
