Discovery 4 rear door card removal !!!! Help required..

Today the Discovery 4 rear passenger door central locking has failed... !!!! i have had a quick look on how to remove the door card however i am not finding a good guide to do this. I have followed the links for the discovery 3 however its very different...

At the moment i am at the stage of trying to remove the door handle chrome covers but failing fast.....i dont want to cause any damage etc...

Just wondering if anyone has anymore information for successfully removing the rear door card on a discovery 4 (2013) even better a step by step inc photos would be a savour… 2012 Discovery 4 HSE Luxury fitted with optional Side Steps.

I can offer verbal instructions if easier - I followed the d3 one for my passenger (d4 front) & it's not too far off - essentially the same major components .. but I couldn't find any D4 specific guides - so I just cracked on.. There's a few lil gotcha's to look out for but, though I hate to say it - fairly logical..

Ok forum members i have now removed the card and gone through the process of removing the door latch mechanism, all sorted... i have also ordered and new latch mechanism so once it arrives and i can take more pics i will upload etc.. 2012 Discovery 4 HSE Luxury fitted with optional Side Steps.

okidoki... 1/2 way there just waiting the new lock mechanism to arrive tomorrow... i have made a document and added pictures... whats the best way to upload etc.. Cheers 2012 Discovery 4 HSE Luxury fitted with optional Side Steps.

How did you get on? I need to remove mine to get at the window lifting mechanism, so looking forward to your notes and pics.
