front lower wishbones need changing??

Hi,

i just dropped my car to 4x4 challenger today, fixed the dreaded issues after my clutch change, and they said the front lower wishbones needed changing ( i have been told this by another garage where i changed my breaks, so no real suprised)

4x4 challenger quoted me £678 inc £90 for wheel alignment, i was wondering if anyone knows anywhere else i can get this done cheaper and at good quality, not looking for crappy places anymore, somewhere where someone has had good experience and is cheaper than £678, a bit low on cash, after spending a good amount on the car.

please let me know anything that may help me Smile

i have also read that people in the forum do replace them, can someone replace them for me? obv id pay!

please let me know.

thank you again.

Alltrack in Hereford charge around £510 all in if I remember right inc tracking. Bit of a drive but you can get a courtesy car Thumbs Up

What about some of the guys on here ? They will come to you ,Bodsy is one and Geoff is another. Obviously they can’t do the tracking but the other jobs they could.

My local indie will do it, LR man through & through, doesn't advertise. Based in Surrey just near Hampton Court. PM me and I'll let you have his number if you are interested.

thanks, so i am getting it done with Geoff, hes given the cheapest price from many places i called, and seems to be a pro with these cars. he said £480, then wheel alignment at another place recommended by Geoff, £80. Total £560 and is closest to me when comparing prices.

thanks guys, will let you know how it all goes.
