26000miles between oil changes is a lot of miles. Is there no evidence of an interim oil change?Richard

If as read that is the service history then it has compromised the warranty period at the time...even now if it is out of warranty and something happened like the crank went you.... would not attract goodwill from LR with that history record IMO.

Hi,
the services have NOT been carried out to L/R schedule
it was 6 months late for its second service and 10k miles late not just 6k
it should be done at 12 months OR 16k miles which ever comes first so 04.2016 and 12k miles next service was due 04.2017 (not 10.2017) or at 28k miles (not 38k)
I walked away from a car at a main dealers for this exact same reason, I asked L/R CRC about the warranty and "it has NOT been serviced to schedule" any warranty claim "MAY" be void !
you would still have the selling dealers warranty but big question mark over any L/R warranty

My point is that if the motor was sold to you on the basis that it had a FSH, then it doesn't....if the engine went pop tomorrow and it did have a FSH you could anticipate goodwill from LR given the age of the motor and that service schedules had been met. They haven't though. I wouldn't be best pleased tbh.

No im not best pleased at all and given the approved used warranty book says you are allowed to me up to 1000miles or 1 month over and its 10k or 6 months over i dont that warranty will stand either. Im awaiting them coming back to me for the missing service information. If nothing im going to suggest they take it back as this in my opinion is clearly a demonstrated fault, found within 30days of purchase which entitles me to a refund.Good bye untrusted p38

Update: whilst im still unhappy about the huge gap, i just spoke to LR Customer service and they have said that since it was serviced when i bought it and provided i service on time there will be no issues with any claim.
Thats all good for the warranty period but leaves a bigger grey cloud over keeping it after that has expired!Good bye untrusted p38

Further update, they have agreed to free engine flush and another oil and filter for piece of mind, a 3 rd years warranty and a 4th year at cost price. i think ill take the risk on that now. if there is a problem with the engine it will happen in that period im sure. if not ill sell it Good bye untrusted p38
