D4 Front Bumper facelift
I have a 2005 TDV6 Discovery 3 SE, it has front fogs and headlamp wash but no front parking sensors (only rear ones). My question is that if I was to do a D4 front facelift upgrade can I install and use (with minimal fuss) the front bumper including parking sensors from a second hand Discovery 4 front bumper ? Or would wiring the front parking sensors up be a big job?
Thanks

Remove your right hand headlamp. If you have an unused connector there, next to the fog lamps one, it's as simple as buying the D4 sensor loom, plugging it in, then getting your local friendly IIDTOOL user to tell the car that they're there.
If that connector isn't there, it's very involved.

I knew someone would have a photo.
There's a good chance the connector will be there, given that you have the rear sensors, but there has been a fair amount of variation in the looms to say for sure.
From your other thread, if you get a D4 front bumper with the fogs, there is a D4 loom which is part number LR015495 I think, which will connect both fogs and sensors.

I got my Discovery 4 front bumper all painted and re-fitted the D4 parking sensors and D4 sensor loom, the D4 sensor loom also includes the connectors for the front fog lights too.
My question is: the D4 loom has a single connector socket which connects to the car and this is for both the front fogs and parking sensors, but on my D3 I have 2 connectors available (1 is for front fogs and 1 is for front parking sensors).
Anyone know which connector on my D3 I use to plug the D4 loom into? Or am I missing something and a further modification required?
Thanks

As an alternative, you can buy the fog light loom and parking sensors loom separately, which is what I did. I'm sure I posted the part numbers on here somewhere.

Ah I didn't realise I needed to buy two separate looms, thought I needed the D4 loom and it would plug in to the D3 connector on the car.
Can I not use my old D3 fog light loom for the fogs and still use the D4 loom just for the parking sensors ?

Thanks Mews,
I bought something similar from PowerfulUk. Paid £135 for the loom.
