Brand new wiper blades streaking
Last Friday I did a long drive up the m5/6 in the rain and noticed a bad streaking from the wiper, right I my eye line.
Saturday I exchanged the wiper blades for brand new Bosch aero twin blades.
Sunday I went out in the rain and had the exact same streak. It's about 2-3" wide and is right in the middle of the drivers blade, where the bracket sits. Window seems clean.
Any advice on what could be causing it?

Could be some oil based fluid that has found it's way onto the screen. Clean the windscreen with white vinegar, also just wipe over the blade of the wiper with a bit on the cloth.

I've had the same problem after fitting new Bosch wipers! Given the glass and blade a clean and it still does it! D3 x2 now gone

do the same with mine using the vinegar
also fitted aero twins
on looking at them sitting on the glass i noticed they weren't quite sitting flat
so bent the arm , just a little and now brilliant
have also found the cheap halfords screen wash to be really good, other makes seem to leave like a coating on the screen

The arms themselves don't last forever. I tried several different makes of blade on my previous 2010 and couldn't get a 'silent' and clear wipe until I changed the drivers side arm.

I bought real cheap blades from B&M type store, and had major streaking.
So went and bought more expensive ones.
..When removing the old cheap ones, I noticed they had a removable guard on the contact area
